Esoteric occult is a category that encompasses supernatural beliefs and practices outside the realm of religious belief. This can be mysticism or even the casting of spells. These practices are usually based on a belief that some form of god or higher power is present beyond our physical realm.
In the late 1970s, a new idea was brought into the world of the occult, The concept of"the "new age". Independent Theosophist David Spangler believed the future generation will be able to experience a new age of spiritual power, and this could transform society.
The New Age revolution changed the perception of the old Esoteric community.
